Hey Guy's!

Recently, I have found myself with a new appreciation for handmade dish & wash cloths. They are the most simple project, work up quickly and make for the perfect gift!

I am planning on doing a whole series on "Rustic Home Goods." Rustic as in Farmhouse (Think Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper) I'll be starting this series off with a few cloth patterns and work my way into blankets, pillows, decor, etc.

Take a look at my first Rustic dish cloth pattern below.

So keep a look out for these new designs coming (stay up to date through my Insta: @Hookedontilly)

For now, we'll be working on the Striped Rustic wash cloth pattern. This design uses the waistcoat stitch ( AKA the knit crochet stitch), double crochet, and front post double crochet. These stitches give this cloth a beautiful drape and "Knitted" appearance.

Notes:

- Dish cloth is worked width wise up to height.

- This pattern can easily be adjusted by adding any number of stitches +1 to the foundation row, always keep 3 SC stitches in the beginning and ends of the middle section.

Materials:

- 6.50mm Crochet Hook

- Approx. 100 yards medium 4 weight 100% cotton yarn (I prefer to use Peaches & Creme yarn)

SC - Single Crochet

WST - Waistcoat Stitch

DC - Double Crochet
