Today I have a video tutorial for you all! Yes, a little different than my usual, but I figured if this was going to be the “Complete Beginners Knitted Hat” than a video tutorial was a MUST.
You are still able to find the AD FREE printable PDF for this pattern here - Beginners Knit Hat
So I recently challenged myself to knit/crochet a newborn hat for the next 30 days. I find that I get so consumed with using my craft for work that I forget to use it for the good of others as well. So, I will be donating all of these hats to my local hospital once i'm done. If any of you are willing to join me, I will be posting a newborn hat pattern EVERYDAY for the next 30 days! Yay!
Today I have a squishy, super cozy, extra-AMAZING pattern for you all; The Nina Cardigan. I designed this sweater to be the perfect homebody sweater. I love cuddling up in something cozy when I’m spending the day lounging at home.
Today I have a unique garment for you all, the Hudson Kimono uses a textured stitch called the “Soft Cluster” once blocked gives a BEAUTIFUL drape and gorgeous look.
As most of you know I LOVE making, wearing, designing, admiring, any oversized sweater. The Kelby sweater is JUST THAT.
Today I have a totally fund and different project for you all, a sweater dress!
A few years back I crochet a sample stitch piece that I never used for any projects, but for some reason it went VIRAL. I received so many messages from people asking me for the pattern to this stitch, where they could find it, and so on. The problem was I never could find the perfect pattern to use this stitch in.
If you’re anything like me, crop tops make up most of my wardrobe. I just love them! They go perfect with my favorite fashion statement; High rise. I have an obsession with wearing high waisted shorts, skirts, pants, you name it. If it’s high-waisted then I want it.
Today I have a quick and easy poncho design to share with you all. This design was inspired by a child’s poncho I saw when shopping for my toddler. I couldn’t believe how simple the construction was and of course my inner crochet self just had to make one!
For the longest time I have been wanting to design a quick, easy, beginner friendly raglan crochet pattern, so today is that day! The Avary sweater has been a challenge for me. Which I found to be crazy, I have designed much more complicated pieces and NEVER experienced the confusion that this pattern caused my testers and I. BUT this is why all of my designs go through a testing phase, I am not perfect and there are often a multitude of mistakes found.
This design means so much to me, you wouldn't believe it. I've struggled for the longest time to create designs that I would actually wear in my day to day life, recently I've been reaching that goal and it feels AMAZING.
The Opal shrug has to be the most "out of my comfort zone" pattern i've created yet. That may sound odd, do to the fact this design is a simple shrug. But, let's be real here you guy's. I don't EVER wear shrugs. I can never find a shrug that actually fits my body right.
