I am beyond excited to finally be sharing with you all one of my most favorite patterns to date! The Seamstress Top. This top is SUPER oversized with a dolman style sleeve. Seams are done inside out which make for a gorgeous "inside out" detail along the sides and front of the piece.

I love wearing this top with simple skinny jeans or high waisted shorts. The best part about this blouse is you can literally wear it in ANY SEASON.

You can easily use any fiber of yarn you prefer to work up this top. A cotton blend would be perfect for summer, but for mine I had a bunch of extra cakes of Lion Brand's Ice Cream yarn in Vanilla Bean.

There are 4 sizes included in the pattern: Small-X-Large. Keep in mind the ease for this top ranges from 7-10" of positive ease. Depending on how you like the fit and length don't be afraid to size down.

Notes:

- Pattern is worked in 5 separate parts then seamed together at the end.

- Mattress stitch and shoulder seam are used for seaming the top together.

- Size adjustments are listed throughout pattern as such - (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large)

- Mattress Stitch tutorial can be found HERE.

Seaming -

Note - Make sure to use the Mattress and Shoulder Seam. This top uses the “wrong side” of the mattress stitch to create the seamed look.  Whenever the pattern calls for the “wrong side” this would be the flat side. The “right side” will be the ridged side.

Mattress Stitch tutorial can be found HERE.

Step 1 - Lay both front panels side by side (Wrong side facing you), seam center up to where V-neck begins.

Step 2 - Lay shoulders of front and back panels together (right side facing you) using shoulder seam, seam both shoulders together.
