Summer is finally here! Which means...

Crochet Bikinis!

What I love the most about constructing bikinis (and crop tops) is just how versatile they can be! You can easily add your own touches to this simple bikini. Lace detail, variegated yarn, beads, etc. Feel free to add more rows in the front section for a less revealing top or none at all to make a classic looking top.

Today, we'll be working up this simple bikini top! I recommend using a cotton yarn whenever working up any project that may get wet (dishcloths for example) do to the fact cotton is an extremely durable and breathable fiber.

For this project I decided to work with Hobby Lobby's I love this yarn in Blue Jean. I Love This Cotton is an astoundingly soft yarn, perfect for bikinis!
