The Aspen Poncho - Free Crochet Pattern

Hey Guy’s!

Today I have a quick and easy poncho design to share with you all. This design was inspired by a child’s poncho I saw when shopping for my toddler. I couldn’t believe how simple the construction was and of course my inner crochet self just had to make one!

This poncho is worked flat, in one piece. The cowl is worked after finishing the body.

Because this pattern was so easy, I was able to convert the sizing from toddler up to a 2XL adult, that never happens for me! You bet i’ll be making a matching one for myself so my daughter and I can match.

The yarn I decided to use for this design was Lion Brand’s Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, you will need two colors; main and accent (for the cowl).

Let’s get into the pattern!
