I have received a multitude of messages these past few months from fellow crocheters (and knitters) asking a variety of questions pertaining to how I am able to afford being a stay at home mom and make a REAL income from my crocheting. I decided I would put together a list of legitimate ways that I (and SO MANY others) make money from this craft. I do want to put out a disclaimer first and foremost that these methods work for me but they won't all work for everyone, we each live a diverse life and encounter different struggles when it comes to finances. I am hoping that at least one of these methods can be hopeful for some of you.
I thought I would write something a little different for you guy's today, I recently have become OBSESSED with color palette's. These charts are great for inspiring new designs and using colors you often would not think can "go" together. I did my best to use the three most common yarn brands out there.
I am currently in search for a number of dedicated pattern testers. After recent review I have decided I am in need of a group of beginner through advanced knit and crochet pattern testers who are willing to work with me long term.
If you’ve been following my design process, you may notice I lack a very popular knit/crochet accessory that most people adore; shawls.
Where I live it is insanely hot. Like dry, I’m always dehydrated, hot. So Shawls tend to be a piece I often place in the back of my mind. It’s honestly a shame, shawls can be so versatile and allow for so much creativity. You can use basically any yarn with almost every stitch.
