Velvet scrunchies were all the rage back in the ’80s, was I there? No. But in spirit, I was wearing these bad boys because they were just that “fetch!” Ok, I’ll stop. Honestly, everything I know about the ’80s comes from a mix of Grease and my mom. Haha! So I’ll just stop talking and tell you all about this quick crochet pattern.

These velvet scrunchies work up SO quickly, it’s addicting. Once you start you can’t stop! They are perfect for craft fairs, market prep, Etsy shop product, gift’s, really any and everything you can think of!

Now, the yarn is what makes these scrunchies look and feel as amazing as it does. You will want to use any velvet yarn you can find, the weight shouldn’t matter as long as it's not “too” bulky. I used Yarnspirations Bernat Baby Velvet yarn in Cuddly Cloud for my scrunchies, and they worked up perfectly!
